Kate Gellweiler,                                                   Communications and Campaigns Director

With government and creative agency experience, Kate is highly skilled in communications strategy, project management and implementation, and has worked on designing and delivering campaigns to engage families and communities.

Kate has over 15 years’ experience working with government and agencies to develop, manage and deliver behaviour change campaigns in areas including nutrition, physical activity, cancer screening, sun safety, breastfeeding, alcohol and mental health. 

She has managed the state-wide implementation of multi-million dollar social marketing initiatives, including advertising, public relations, community relations and stakeholder engagement. Having sat on government committees in the areas of alcohol, obesity and mental health, Kate has an in-depth understanding of the mechanics of government.

Kate has special expertise in developing communications materials and content for a range of audiences and channels including advertising, stakeholder, community and media engagement, and social media.   

She has a Bachelor of Business (Communication) from Queensland University of Technology.
